Rotate Selected PDF Pages vs the Whole Document

Choose Organize PDF when only certain pages need rotation, or Rotate PDF when every page needs the same 90°, 180° or 270° correction.

Rotate selected pages

Use Organize PDF when only some pages are sideways

A mixed-orientation PDF may contain one landscape scan or a few upside-down pages inside an otherwise correct document.

Organize PDF gives each page its own rotation control, so you can correct those pages without changing the orientation of pages that are already right.

Use Rotate PDF when the whole document has the same error

The standalone Rotate PDF tool applies one selected +90°, +180° or +270° clockwise correction across the entire document.

That is more direct when every page came from a scanner or export in the same wrong orientation.

Page-specific rotation follows the reordered page

In Organize PDF, each page card carries its own original page index and rotation value. If you move that page to another position, its selected rotation moves with it into the output configuration.

This lets you reorder and fix orientation during the same review instead of performing two separate whole-document operations.

Both workflows save the orientation into a new PDF

These are saved document changes, not temporary viewer rotations. The downloaded copy stores the requested page rotation or rebuilt page orientation.

Adobe also distinguishes temporary Rotate View from saved page rotation in its page-organizing tools.

Keep the source until the result is verified

After rotating selected pages, reopen the new PDF and inspect pages around every changed location. Confirm page order as well as orientation.

If an input requires the compatibility fallback, also verify text selection or other interactive features that may matter.
